Features you'll find in all ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses:
Highest UV Protection
All ACUVUE® Contact Lenses help protect portions of your eyes by blocking at least 82% of
UV-A radiation and 97% of UV-B radiation‡ – even higher in some lenses. Pair them with sunglasses
and a wide-brimmed hat for the most complete protection for your eyes.
Important UV Information
Visibility Tint
ACUVUE® Contact Lenses are lightly tinted so you can spot them in your lens case or if you drop one - all without affecting how you see or how you look.
Inside-out Marker
Applying your lenses correctly is as easy as the '1-2-3' printed on the side of most ACUVUE® Lenses. If it's inside out, the 1-2-3 will appear reversed when viewed from the side.

Important Information for contact lens wearers:
ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses are available by prescription only for vision correction. An eye care professional will determine whether contact lenses are right for you.
How should I use my lenses?
Follow the wear and replacement schedule and the lens care instructions provided by your eye care professional.
Are there any risks with wearing contact lenses?
Although rare, serious eye problems can develop. Therefore, it is important to talk to your eye care professional about proper wear and care of your lenses.
Who should not wear contact lenses?
Only your eye care professional can determine if contact lenses are right for you. If your eye care professional has prescribed contact lenses for you, you should not wear them if you have an eye infection, or experience eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, redness or other eye problems. If one of these conditions occurs, contact your eye care professional immediately.
Where can I obtain more information about ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses?
For more information, consult your eye care professional. You can also visit our
Frequently Asked Questions. Click here for the Patient Instruction Guide.
† Your eye doctor will determine if our STEREO PRECISION TECHNOLOGY™ will work for you.
** LACREON® is Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc.'s brand name for its proprietary technology that permanently embeds a water-holding ingredient, similar to that found in natural tears, into the proven etafilcon A material.
‡ Helps protect against transmission of harmful UV
radiation to the cornea and into the eye. WARNING: UV-absorbing contact lenses are NOT substitutes
for protective UV-absorbing eyewear such as UV-absorbing goggles or sunglasses because they do not completely cover
the eye and surrounding area. You should continue to use UV-absorbing eyewear as directed.
NOTE: Long-term exposure to UV radiation is one of the risk factors associated with cataracts.
Exposure is based on a number of factors such as environmental conditions (altitude, geography, cloud cover) and
personal factors (extent and nature of outdoor activities). UV-blocking contact lenses help provide protection
against harmful UV radiation. However, clinical studies have not been done to demonstrate that wearing UV-blocking
contact lenses reduces the risk of developing cataracts or other eye disorders. Consult your eye care practitioner
for more information.
